The performance will feature 6 types of classical Indian dance - Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kathakali, Odissi, Manipuri and Chhau.  Admission is free, and this will be a good opportunity for the local audience to learn more about India’s customs and traditional culture.

The event is part of a series of cultural activities to celebrate the “Festival of India”.  This is being co-organised by the Indian Ministry of Culture, the Indian Embassy in Viet Nam, and the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.  The purpose is to introduce the rich and vibrant Indian culture, and to contribute to deepening the traditional friendship and solidarity between Viet Nam and India.
